Jackson, WY Information
Just a short scenic drive from Driggs, Idaho (about 45 minutes) is Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As you come off of the Teton pass into the town of Wilson, look up and you will see the Sleeping Indian in the Mountains in front of you.
As you leave Wilson there is a stoplight, take a left turn to Teton Village or straight ahead for Jackson Hole. Grand Teton National Park is just 63 miles from the Wilson Bridge.
In Teton Village you can ride the tram to the top of the mountain, hike, bike ride and even let the kids play on the splash pad in the Summer time. During winter months, Teton Village is full of winter fun on the slopes.
In Jackson Hole visit all of the shops on the downtown Square and don’t forget to get your picture taken by the elk antler arches. Summer is full of fun activities at Snow King Resort; take a fun ride down the mountain on the Alpine slide, go miniature golfing, or go for a ride up the mountain on the chair lift. The rec center in downtown Jackson offers swimming and sports activities year round. During the winter Jackson offers sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge where you will see hundreds of elk wintering on the refuge. There are many spas if you’re looking for a little R&R and plenty of hiking for the outdoor enthusiast. Jackson also offers movie theaters as well as many fine dining experiences. Don’t forget! you are only a short drive from the Spud Drive-in in Driggs. With Jackson Wyoming and Driggs, Idaho at your finger tips there are endless possibilities.
